About Oswald Road Fine Furniture Store
Oswald Road Fine Furniture was established in 1989 in the old Presbyterian Church in Oswald Road Oswestry, by owners Mary and John Clifford, following on from their success with Wyle Cop Antiques in Shrewsbury, set up in 1985. Oswald Road Fine Furniture sells specially selected, good quality solid wood furniture at reasonable prices with a large range of furniture items on show and lots more furniture available to order. The intriguing and unusual range of home accessories is also a very popular and important part of the business with bespoke furniture a speciality.
Bespoke Furniture Specialists
Bespoke furniture is a speciality and small workshops tailor-make items to customer's specifications. These include kitchen units, tables made any size (14' by 4' is the largest yet!), coffee tables, dressers, sideboards, bookcases (these can be made in long runs to cover a wall), settles, computer desks etc. The list is endless! Customers simply need to provide a very simple sketch including sizes in order to receive a no obligation quote. These and many other items can be colour matched to existing furniture – just take in an existing drawer or other furniture item and John or Mary will do their best to match the colour.

Often described as an 'Aladdins Cave' there is a wide choice of furniture from a large number of suppliers of pine, contemporary oak, traditional oak, beech etc. Many items are supplied from stock but there are also catalogues with many more pieces of furniture available for the dining room including chairs, living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, home office and hallway.
Deliveries Nationwide
Furniture can be delivered nationwide – deliveries have been as far as Fort William in Scotland and Penzance in Cornwall. Just ask for a quote.
